| | So after a long seven month hiatus I have decided to slowly make the foray back into blogging. As it is life currently is in that mundane period of everyday routine after wedding but before baby which is the reason why my blog slowly became neglected. Paul and I will be celebrating three years of marriage this August as well as six years of dating (July) this year and God willing this fall we plan on trying to expand our little family. Married life has proved to be challenging, rewarding, frustrating, and joyful and this year has proved to be one filled with ups and downs but just recently I think we have turned the corner and sailed through the roughest part. I am still nannying and loving it. Honestly I do think it has been one of the best decisions of my life. I love the work, the hours, and the personal freedom it gives me. As it is I will be going back with my current family in September (my girls go to sleep away camp in the summer and so I have lined up a few other babysitting jobs for the summer) and the best part is if all goes according to plan I can get pregnant, have my baby after my girls go to summer camp, have the summer with my baby, and return to work the following September with baby in tow. My boss is a wonderful lady who said that I can bring my child with me to work which opened the opportunity for me to not only work and make money but save on childcare while also raising my own child. I can think of nothing better personally and I love that nannying has opened the door for this wonderful situation that not only benefits myself but my family as well. So this is my last mommy free summer and with that in mind I have decided to set out some goals I would like to accomplish for the summer and more long term.
For this summer I would like to
-complete my long neglected wedding scrapbook -learn to sew -attempt to learn more crocheting -work on a personal project of mine
As for long term goals, with 3-0 looming just a little over 2 years away, I would like to
-complete my interpreter certificate (only the state exam I take in September stands in the way currently) -become a mother -own a house -show my first Cavalier -learn to accept myself, faults and all
